But then I look at these horrendously sexist ads and heave a sigh of relief. So put on Queen Bee's "Run the World" and take a look at what was perfectly acceptable back in the day. It will amuse you and make you shudder at the same time!

I can not believe the audacity of then advertisers then, woman and men are equall! So that does not make it okay to kill a woman (last poster) I don't even understand how people thought this was okay to be put out in public even printed! There isn't a difference from today really in advertients! Women are thought of in media today as just a body with curves...that we don't have a brain! Don't get me wrong we have a lot of powerful woman in America...but there's more body shown than brain. Even on comedy's the woman always has to fall in love or be down right ditzy! I hope by the time my genoration grows up, there is more respect for woman! I will try my hardest to price my dreams and become who I want to be not what the male wants me to be!
