The Long Asked Question What if Men Got Periods ...

What if men experienced periods? I often wonder about that, especially since there are so many aspects of women's health in which men are involved. Our reproductive health makes it into the news all the time, you know? There's the tampon tax, the idea of paid time off for painful periods – some guys get awfully mad about these things. I'm not going to go all political, though. I'm just going to indulge in a little daydream because I think the world would be a much different place if guys had periods.

(A/N: Let me specify that I know some men do, indeed, have periods, and many women do not. This post poses the question of what might happen if cisgender men had periods. Carry on!)

There Would Be No Period Euphemisms

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

You know a feminist wrote this hah

Haha just makes me realize how male dominant society is

I read a book about how the world would be if guys got periods and could bear children. It was super interesting and had a lot of these points in it. Where it was a lot more socially accepted, the main character only likes to have sex when on his period because it feels so much better, and they openly talk about symptoms or graphic details in public. They even talked about moon cups, in graphic detail in a restaurant with coworkers. Though in the book the men had different genitals, I can't remember how it was designed but I remember being very amused by the topic. Definitely worth thinking about, women are shamed for something that they cannot control and are forced to pay for it as well.

I loved this article

I'm not sure, but I think this was written by a feminist.
