1. How Did You Start Your Standup Career?

Oh. It’s almost as if the whole world has seen me do it. I got into an argument with my husband. I got drunk. I ended up at a local bar with an open mic. I went on stage. And that is how my life changed.

2. Did You Ever Consider Doing Standup before?

Honestly, I always liked it. But I never thought it could be an opportunity for me. You know, having two little kids, taking care of them full time.

3. Do You Remember Anything from Your Original Set?

Of course. A lot of jokes have evolved and grown. But I still cherish that spontaneous outburst. I’ve heard that someone taped it, but I never found the person. It would be great to see it.

4. Is Standup Your Main Job?

No. I actually have a day job. I’m a fashion stylist. I specialize in male fashion.

5. Have You Heard of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel?

I did. A friend of mine kept on telling me about the show. She insisted that I watch it. And so I did.

6. Do You See the Similarities between You and Midge?

Hard to deny, actually. We’re both Jewish. And I must say that my brisket is most definitely better, as are my jokes. It’s not like there’s a competition. But if there was... *laughs*

I have 2 children and a complicated marriage situation too. Of course, Michael Zegen is much prettier. So Midge gets a point there.

In comedy clubs all over New York. I try to announce my shows in my Instagram stories.
